An international conference for creative industries finance in the digital era

Across Europe, the creative industries are recognised as a high-growth sector with a strong concentration of intellectual property and growth potential. Yet investment structures have not evolved at the same pace: recent research has highlighted that the creative sectors remain without a dedicated investor class, despite being among the most IP-intensive industries on the continent. The 2026 Forum will examine how private investment, financial structures and cross-sector collaboration can better align to close that gap across the European market.
Building on last year's event, which brought together over 20 senior speakers, including Sir Peter Bazalgette, co-chair of the Creative Industries Council, the 2026 Forum will once again bring together key voices across finance, creative industries, policy, innovation and academia.
The inaugural Creative Industries Finance Forum brought together senior leaders from the creative industries, finance, investment and academia to explore how investment can better support one of the UK’s fastest-growing sectors. Hosted by Bayes Business School, the event addressed barriers to creative industry finance, including limited access to capital and challenges in valuing intangible assets. Speakers included Sir Peter Bazalgette, Joe Puthenveetil, Reemah Sakaan and David Moody. Discussions focused on intellectual property, investment models, monetisation, business growth and emerging opportunities at the intersection of creativity, technology and finance.
